Our Journey

A word from the founder

Vesta Capsule is more than just a business — it's a vision shaped by personal experiences and a deep desire to redefine how we rest, travel, and connect with space.

The idea was born from years of travelling and the constant search for safe, simple, and affordable places to sleep. Since the age of three, I’ve lived in multiple countries across different continents — including Congo, South Africa, Mozambique, and Houston (USA) — and have been immersed in a globally mobile lifestyle.

As a global citizen, I noticed something missing in nearly every airport and event I attended: a sense of comfort, privacy, and safety. After trying countless short-term accommodation options, I felt inspired to create something of my own — a space that feels secure, personal, and like home, no matter where you are.

Since Childhood

Since the age of three, Farah has lived and travelled across the globe due to her parents' work. While adapting to various local cultures, she experienced a wide range of accommodation styles and living environments.

Since Childhood

A Dream come true

Not long after, Farah fulfilled her childhood wish by visiting Japan, one of the world’s most advanced countries in engineering and robotics.

This is where the story truly begins…

Vesta Capsules

“Vesta Capsules” is a name inspired by the Roman goddess of hearth and home.
By choosing this name, Farah aimed to create a cozy, secure, and welcoming environment — a true home away from home.

Aligned with the SDGs

Farah not only set out to revolutionize short-term accommodation but also to promote sustainability and eco-tourism — driven by her deep care for the environment and the future of our planet.

Mechatronic Engineering

Driven by a strong passion for engineering and robotics, Farah graduated with a degree in Mechatronic Engineering from the University of Manchester in 2023 and began working in the industry shortly after.

A unique design

After extensive research and hard work, Farah designed modular sleeping pods that are convenient for both indoor and outdoor use. To make her design stand out, she chose a distinctive hexagonal shape — a tribute to the city of Manchester, where she developed and nurtured her passion for engineering, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

‘‘It clicked’’

While traveling solo in Japan, Farah stayed in a few of the country’s famous capsule hotels. She was surprised by how convenient, affordable, and safe they were — especially for a woman traveling alone. That’s when it clicked: Why isn’t this concept available in Europe? It would be incredibly useful for solo travelers and commuters alike.
